Chilero was born from a simple idea: beach driving should feel easy — quiet, clean, fun, and made for real life in Costa Rica.

Our founder, Dana Loach, is a Canadian who fell in love with the Pacific coast — especially the unmistakable vibe of Jacó Beach. Sunrise surf checks, sandy paws in the back, and spontaneous runs from the beach to town and back again inspired the vision behind Chilero. After years of chasing that feeling, he set out to bring a vehicle that truly matched it: vintage-style electric beach cars designed for sun, salt air, and everyday coastal living.

Today, Chilero is based in Jacó Beach, Puntarenas, importing and supporting electric beach cars in Costa Rica built for coastal adventures. Our vehicles are made for people who want something more fun, more stylish, and more connected to the beach lifestyle.

As Chilero grows, we are expanding the lineup to 6 models, with future made-to-order and produced-on-demand configurations that allow each customer to build a vehicle around their own personality and lifestyle.
